" Before enrolling in MSE Academy, I had no idea what I was going to do after I graduated, and I only had one semester left to figure things out. We’re providing industry-specific insights, resumes, and mentorship from MSEs in every industry to give MSEs like you a clear and actionable blueprint to find and land your dream job. We spent hundreds of hours networking so that you don’t have to. It took a while, but that's exactly why David and I created MSE Academy. I utilized their insights and referrals to land interviews at top companies like Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott, and ultimately accepted an offer to work at Boston Scientific. I realized there must be MSEs who have been in my shoes and can share their insights and strategies with me. I was applying to all sorts of job openings with no luck.Īnd then I realized I didn’t have to go through this process on my own. Unfortunately, I had minimal experience with medical devices and didn't know how to translate my past experiences to transition into this space. I had a few research and internship experiences related to batteries, polymers, aerospace, and additive manufacturing, but after my capstone project, the medical device industry intrigued me the most. With graduation looming, I had no idea which role or industry was right for me.
